Insight Therapy Space

Insight Therapy Space is the trading name of Insight Psychological Therapy Ltd (Company Number: 17055199), registered in England and Wales.

Therapy Services

Therapy is provided by Musrat Rafiq and aims to support psychological wellbeing and personal development. Therapy is a collaborative process, and while every effort is made to support positive outcomes, specific results cannot be guaranteed.

Appointments and Fees

Session fees will be communicated prior to the commencement of therapy.

Payment is required in accordance with the agreed payment terms. Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of future appointments.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged at the full session fee.

Confidentiality

Information shared during therapy is treated as confidential, subject to professional, ethical, and legal obligations.

Confidentiality may be broken where:

  • There is a significant risk of harm to yourself or others.
  • There are concerns regarding the safety of a child or vulnerable adult.
  • Disclosure is required by law or court order.
  • Professional supervision or consultation is required in accordance with professional standards.

Where possible, any necessary disclosure will be discussed with you beforehand.

Alcohol and Substance Use

To ensure therapy can be provided safely and effectively, clients are expected to attend sessions free from the effects of alcohol, illicit substances, or the misuse of prescribed medication.

Where a client appears significantly impaired, the therapist reserves the right to end or postpone the session. In some circumstances, specialist support for alcohol or substance use difficulties may be recommended before or alongside therapy.

Crisis and Emergency Support

This practice does not provide an emergency or crisis service.

Online Therapy

Clients attending online sessions are responsible for ensuring they have a private space and a suitable internet connection. While secure platforms are used where possible, absolute confidentiality of electronic communications cannot be guaranteed.
